NACDS member pharmacies and pharmacy teams are demonstrating tremendous leadership by hosting members of Congress for pharmacy tours as part of the NACDS RxIMPACT grassroots advocacy program.

Seventeen NACDS RxIMPACT pharmacy tours have taken place since January 2022 — and NACDS members continue to help urge Congressional support on issues of vital importance to pharmacy viability and patient access, including:

  • sustaining funding for COVID-19 programs for vulnerable, uninsured Americans;
  • direct and indirect remuneration (DIR) fee reform;
  • extending pharmacy flexibilities under the Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness (PREP) Act and supporting the Equitable Community Access to Pharmacist Services Act — so that Americans may continue to benefit from services at the pharmacies they know and trust during public health emergencies and with day-to-day needs.
