NACDS Director of Grassroots and Advocacy Heidi Ecker delivered the first NACDS RxIMPACT grassroots training of 2016 at the West Virginia State University School of Pharmacy on effective grassroots involvement in the political process.
On the eve of the pivotal Iowa caucases, and as the 2016 presidential race intensifies, NACDS Director of Grassroots and Advocacy Heidi Ecker hosted the first NACDS RxIMPACT grassroots training of 2016 for the West Virginia State University School of Pharmacy Mountaineers on January 29. Ecker emphasized the importance of grassroots involvement in the political process, letting the students know that as voters they have the power to impact policy outcomes.
The bipartisan NACDS RxIMPACT Votes campaign is also in high gear–offering online resources on how to register to vote, research candidates and support candidates leading up to Election Day.
