NACDS is participating in the annual U.S. Senate Health Fair, October 16 and 17 at the U.S. Senate Hart building on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. The health fair offers thousands of Senate employees an opportunity to receive healthcare advice and care, highlighting the essential role community pharmacy plays in the healthcare delivery system.
NACDS is coordinating an exhibit at the health fair to demonstrate the importance of the pharmacist-patient relationship and the valuable role that pharmacy plays in helping patients take their medication properly and in providing patients other important health services. NACDS member company pharmacists will also be onsite providing flu vaccines. By 10 a.m. today, 70 people had already visited NACDS’ booth.
