Congressional leadership has indicated the bill could be advanced with only a few more cosponsors. In just one day, the NACDS RxIMPACT alert generated more than 800 advocate letters to over 200 congressional members, reaching 88 percent of the Senate and 25 percent of the House.
To date, NACDS RxIMPACT advocates have sent more than 5,000 advocate letters, participated in 462 Capitol Hill meetings, and hosted over 150 in-district activities to promote the much-needed bill, resulting in 234 cosponsors in the House Bill and 33 in the Senate.
