Innovative conferences fuel industry innovation. That was one of the major takeaways of a recent article in Association Conventions & Facilities magazine that featured NACDS meetings and conferences.

The NACDS Annual Meeting and the NACDS Total Store Expo were among the events profiled that “sparkle with engagement.”

The article positioned NACDS’ events as effective opportunities for retailers and suppliers to meet consumers’ needs for health and wellness – according to their companies’ unique offerings in that evolving space.

The article also placed NACDS’ events among those across diverse industries that excel in their “sophistication,” “immersive technology,” and “connectivity”; that excel in their “engagement” opportunities for peers, strategic partners, sponsors, and speakers; and that are “powered by attendees’ expectations.”

The article gave NACDS the last word – quoting Jim Whitman, NACDS’ senior vice president of member programs and services, this way:

“Most critically, it is essential to identify where the industry is going – and how to incorporate that future into your show.

“Trade shows are a conduit for the future. This is where opportunities are presented, and the greatest ideas are formed.”

NACDS is committed to helping fuel industry innovation in health and wellness, and to helping members leverage the total store for the total person. Attendees at the NACDS Regional Chain Conference leveraged that power earlier this year, and the same will be true of the NACDS Annual Meeting later this month and the NACDS Total Store Expo in August.

This industry deserves national recognition for its unparalleled effectiveness in serving Americans, and this article in Association Conventions & Facilities demonstrates NACDS’ commitment to the industry’s success in this regard.
