The National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) is observing Men’s Health Month and Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month as part of its ongoing Nourish My Health public education campaign. NACDS is showcasing participating member pharmacies and their commitment to their communities across the country. From nutrition resources and baseline screenings to preventive care and disease management, June is the ideal time to focus on health and wellness.

“More than ever, pharmacies are playing a vital role in advancing health in their communities,” said NACDS President and CEO Steven C. Anderson. “Particularly in areas with limited access to care, pharmacies are the ideal destination for comprehensive services and solutions.”

NACDS Nourish My Health — a collaboration with leading national health organizations — was developed in 2023 as part of a national strategy to end hunger, improve nutrition, and reduce disease. Nourish My Health encourages baseline health screening to understand disease risks; offers healthy food guides and nutrition information; provides resources for professionals; and hosts a nutrition security survey which informs meaningful access solutions.
