Last week, NACDS President and CEO Steven C. Anderson spoke at the AARP Global Thought Leadership Conference, titled “Unlocking Health Longevity: A Blue Print for Thriving with Age.”

In addition to communicating the trust and reach of pharmacy and advancing other themes of the NACDS Health and Wellness Innovation Initiative, Anderson made an important and timely announcement: AARP has joined as a participant in the NACDS Nourish My Health national health education campaign. Partners also include the Alzheimer’s Association, American Cancer Society, the American Diabetes Association, the Food is Medicine Institute at the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University, and March of Dimes.
