NACDS thanks NACDS-member retailers and suppliers for coming together and creating a true “industry reunion” at the 2022 NACDS Annual Meeting in Palm Beach, FL.

The high-energy event was a welcome return to the in-person NACDS Annual Meeting – fueling collaboration, fostering strategic business partnerships and providing members with a one-of-a-kind opportunity to connect and advance the industry, together.

Newly elected NACDS Chair Brian Nightengale, president, Good Neighbor Pharmacy, detailed a new and transformative era for pharmacy. He said:

“As we emerge from the pandemic and march onward toward the 90th anniversary of NACDS next year, we’re on the verge of permanently redefining how we serve our patients and consumers. But for that to happen, we must act, and that time is now.”

Brian Nightengale, president, Good Neighbor Pharmacy, gave his first remarks as NACDS Chair at the 2022 NACDS Annual Meeting.

Ending her term as NACDS Chair, Colleen Lindholz, president, Kroger Health, The Kroger Co., emphasized all the industry can do in the future for total health and wellness. She said:

“We are poised to improve population health by empowering individual health through our commitment to collaboration, accessibility and equity. There is power when we move in a unified direction at a pace that matters for a cause much greater than ourselves.”

NACDS President and CEO Steven C. Anderson said:

“As we look to the future, we are focused on taking the positive statements about pharmacy, taking the lessons learned, taking our recommendations, taking the results achieved for the American people and turning them once and truly for all into a vastly improved healthcare delivery system … that sees pharmacies like hundreds of millions of Americans see them: as the face of neighborhood healthcare.”

A series of Strategic Exchange Appointments and a comprehensive Meet the Industry program were also among many of the innovative and interactive features included in the conference schedule.

Plans already are underway for the 2023 NACDS Annual Meeting, which will be held April 22-25 in NACDS’ 90th Anniversary year. NACDS will return to The Breakers in Palm Beach, FL, for that event. In addition, NACDS looks forward to welcoming members to the rapidly approaching 2022 NACDS Total Store Expo — to be held August 27-29 in Boston, MA.
