September Isn’t over Yet—It’s Still National Preparedness Month

<p>The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) designates September as <a href="http://www.ready.gov/september">National Preparedness Month</a> and this year&rsquo;s theme is: &ldquo;Be Disaster Aware, Take Action to Prepare.&rdquo; The agency is encouraging stakeholders to <a href="http://www.fema.gov/media-library-data/1408469393524-bdff9658091b898e5b5b5594655e835b/How%20to%20Get%20Involved%202014%20NPM%20Quick%20Guide.pdf">promote</a> National Preparedness Month throughout September to get the public involved and to increase the level of basic preparedness across the nation.</p>
