Arlington, Va.Exhibit sales for the 2016 National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) Total Store Expo will open industry-wide on Monday, December 7, the Association announced today. Known for its top-notch, cutting-edge programming, the NACDS Total Store Expo will return to the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center August 6-9, 2016 in Boston, Massachusetts.

What makes the NACDS Total Store Expo unique is that it’s both a highly effective trade show, and a unique opportunity for strategic exchange between retailers and suppliers with an eye toward the entire store.

Exhibit sales have been open for those who attended the 2015 event, allowing them a head start to solidify their meeting plans early. More than 5,600 retailers and suppliers attended the four-day trade show and strategic exchange this past August in Denver, Colorado.

“Already engagement is high among retailers and suppliers alike for the 2016 NACDS Total Store Expo. The opening of exhibit sales to the industry-at-large will now enable first-time attendees and other interested exhibitors to reserve booth space for this game-changing event,” said NACDS President and CEO Steven C. Anderson, IOM, CAE.

The NACDS Total Store Expo is distinguished in its ability to deliver the precision and personalization that members have come to expect from NACDS conferences and meetings.

“What makes the NACDS Total Store Expo unique is that it’s both a highly effective trade show, and a unique opportunity for strategic exchange between retailers and suppliers with an eye toward the entire store,” said Anderson.

Today, NACDS also announced that the Exhibit Hall is already 85 percent sold out.

“Following a highly-charged trade show this past August, the NACDS Total Store Expo continues to build on that momentum, which is reflected in the fact that exhibit space is 85 percent sold out – eight months in advance of the show,” said Anderson.

NACDS also emphasized early momentum in participation levels for the Meet the Market program for the 2016 Total Store Expo. These 10-minute appointments arranged by NACDS enable participating exhibitors to present their company and products to retailers, resulting in thousands of meetings.

“The Meet the Market program can truly turn innovative exchanges into real-world opportunities,” Anderson said.

NACDS-TV captured the essence of the trade show through interviews, highlights and features that offered new attendees a snapshot of the high-caliber trade show.  In lead-up to the 2016 show, keep an eye out for new coverage, including updates about what attendees can expect this year.  Highlights from the 2015 NACDS Total Store Expo can be found here.

“Preparation is essential for a productive NACDS Total Store Expo,” said Anderson. “In the months ahead, we will continue to deliver on NACDS’ commitment to provide retailers and suppliers with the resources and tools they need to plan for success at the 2016 event.”
