Rx Response Webinar to Explore Disaster Preparedness

<p style="margin: 11.25pt 11.25pt 0.0001pt 0in; line-height: 13.5pt;">NACDS and Rx Response will present a webinar on August 7, 2014, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (EDT) to help members prepare for disaster response &ndash; including the challenges of degradation of medicines in a power loss, credentialing for staff and deliveries, an emergency declaration that includes regulatory changes for pharmacy practices, and more.<br />

As the only organization of its kind, </span><a href="http://www.rxresponse.org/" target="_blank" style="line-height: 13.5pt;">Rx Response</a><span style="line-height: 13.5pt;"> plays a unique role helping to address and resolve obstacles impacting normal bio-pharmaceutical supply chain operation during and outside of a disaster. Over the course of the past seven years, Rx Response has provided support for almost 50 disasters across the country and built a brand of trust between industry members and government public health and emergency management officials.
