<p>The Coalition for Community Pharmacy Action (CCPA) is sponsoring a national community pharmacy cost-of-dispensing study. CCPA is an alliance between NACDS and the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA). CCPA has contracted with the MPI Group, an independent survey organization, to conduct the project. The last study was conducted in 2006.<br />

Medicaid's movement toward an acquisition cost system of reimbursement, and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services' public posting of a final national average daily acquisition cost file, make the timing of this survey critical. NACDS Chain members are urged to complete the survey when they receive an email from rxaction.org this week.</p>
