Melissa Martin, constituent services representative for Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ), toured Genoa Healthcare in Tucson, Ariz., on March 7. Following the tour, Martin wrote the pharmacy team and said, ““I appreciated the opportunity to learn what goes on at the pharmacy and to learn about the issues facing them.”
Legislators and their staff members come away from NACDS RxIMPACT pharmacy tours better informed about how pharmacists are key in providing face-to-face consultations with their constituents, which lead to better overall health outcomes.
