On May 8, Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-CA) participated in an NACDS RxIMPACT pharmacy tour at Walmart in San Marcos, Calif. The pharmacy team discussed their focus on patient care and how they treat every patient as a priority and not just a prescription number. The congressman said he was extremely appreciative about what the pharmacy team is doing, and their focus on individual patients. After the tour the team said, “It was such an inspiration to meet him because we knew that he left his job the day after 9/11 and eventually served three tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to host the congressman.”
