House Ways & Means Committee Member Rep. Adrian Smith (R-NE, second from right) toured a Walmart pharmacy in Kearney, Neb., recently. The pharmacy team was pleased to be able to cover a lot of ground with the congressman, who participated for over an hour.

Over the past week, NACDS member companies hosted 11 NACDS RxIMPACT pharmacy tours and other events with members of Congress and staff back home in their states and congressional districts, bringing the 2018 total so far to 62.

• Albertsons Companies hosted a Casa Grande, Ariz., pharmacy tour for staff of House Armed Services Committee Member Rep. Tom
O’Halleran (D-AZ) and a Simi Valley, Calif., pharmacy tour for House Armed Services Committee Member Rep. Steve Knight (R-CA)

• Genoa Healthcare hosted an Enfield, Conn., pharmacy tour for staff of House Armed Services Committee Member Rep. Joe Courtney
(D-CT) and a Goshen, Ind., pharmacy tour for House Ways & Means Committee Member Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-IN)

• The Kroger Co. hosted a Columbus, Ohio, pharmacy tour for staff of Rep. Joyce Beatty (D-OH) and a Danville, Ind., pharmacy tour
for staff of Rep. Todd Rokita (R-IN)

• The Rite Aid Corporation hosted an Ashland, Ohio, pharmacy tour for staff of Rep. Bob Gibbs (R-OH) and a Burbank, Calif.,
pharmacy tour for staff of Rep. Brad Sherman (D-CA)

• Harmon City, Inc. hosted a St. George, Utah, pharmacy tour for staff for Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT)

• Walgreen Co. hosted a Burlington, Iowa, pharmacy tour for House Energy & Commerce Committee Member Rep. Dave Loebsack (D-IA)

• Walmart hosted a Covington, La., pharmacy tour for staff of Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions and Finance Committees
