On the heels of last week’s record-setting advocacy day on the Hill, NACDS RxIMPACT just kept going—in spite of a predicted nor’easter—and traveled to the D’Youville School of Pharmacy in Buffalo, N.Y., for a Grassroots Training Program. NACDS’ Heidi Ecker trained pharmacy students and faculty about the effectiveness of grassroots engagement and telling pharmacy’s story to Congress.

The fifth session of 2018 was planned to educate participants in advance of the school’s upcoming state capitol advocacy day. The session emphasized using NACDS RxIMPACT Votes resources to register to vote, volunteer for campaigns of choice, and vote on Election Day.
