Rep. Tom Emmer (R-MN) participated in the first NACDS RxIMPACT Pharmacy Tour of 2018 this week at Genoa, a Qol Healthcare Company, in St. Cloud, Mn. The pharmacy team did a great job of engaging the congressman and explaining the vital services pharmacists provide to constituents on medication adherence and other topics.
NACDS RxIMPACT continues to mobilize advocates from around the country, highlighting the important contributions pharmacy makes in providing accessible, affordable and quality healthcare. This year has special significance as NACDS RxIMPACT prepares to welcome pharmacy advocates representing all 50 states at the signature NACDS RxIMPACT Day on Capitol Hill, March 7-8. NACDS President & CEO Steven C. Anderson, IOM, CAE, wrote last week that the event is becoming “…an ideal symbol of the wave of momentum that has characterized this advocacy summit since its beginning.” In addition, a record 36 percent of NACDS chain members will participate in the event in 2018.
