<p class="p1">The NACDS RxIMPACT grassroots program issued an action alert today urging advocates in Louisiana to contact their state representative to urge them to support SB 600 by Sen. Mills, which will expand pharmacists’ authority to administer any immunization without a prescription or medical order to anyone 17 years and older.</p>
<p class="p1">The bill will likely be voted on by the full House of Representatives the week of May 19. The alert stated, "If you are a pharmacist, intern or pharmacy student, or have operations in Louisiana, it is critical you contact your state representatives today."</p>
