NACDS and the Pharmacy Quality Alliance are co-hosted a Community Pharmacy Ratings Workshop in Alexandria, Va., on November 9. The goal of the workshop was to help participants improve quality ratings in performance-based healthcare programs.

NACDS co-sponsored a Community Pharmacy Quality Ratings Workshop with the Pharmacy Quality Alliance (PQA), American Pharmacists Association (APhA), National Alliance of State Pharmacy Associations (NASPA), and National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) on November 9 in Alexandria, Va.  The purpose of the workshop was to engage community pharmacy leaders on strategies to improve quality ratings in performance-based healthcare programs. NACDS delivered opening remarks for the workshop session, “Numbers Don’t Lie: Understanding and Acting on Your Pharmacies’ Rating,” and facilitated a break-out session regarding case study analysis.  The workshop concluded with guest speaker, John Gorman from Gorman Health Group, presenting, “Putting it All Together:  Measures, Methods, and New Payment Models.”
