The NACDS Annual Meeting is set to be a highly successful opportunity for participants to forge meaningful, strategic partnerships.

The NACDS Annual Meeting is fast approaching—April 21-24 in Palm Beach—and collaboration among senior executives; an excellent program with opportunities for engagement; and top-level speakers are part of what makes the meeting exceptional.

The Meet the Industry program has become integral to the meeting and is specifically designed for first-time participants and small and mid-size associate member companies. The program will be held on Saturday, April 21 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and consists of 30-minute sessions led by senior retail executives, or team of executives, from different retailer companies. This year’s presenting companies include CVS Health, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Walmart, Facebook and Kroger. Presenters will provide an overview of their companies, how they maximize the Annual Meeting to enhance their businesses, and topics they anticipate discussing with suppliers.

Speakers at other Annual Meeting functions also exemplify NACDS’ commitment to providing participants with the most compelling, newsworthy—and news-making—speakers from a range of disciplines.

  • Pulitzer-prize winning Wall Street Journal columnist Peggy Noonan will speak at the Sunday Business Program on Sunday, April 22. Noonan, a former special assistant and speechwriter for President Ronald Reagan, will share insights on leadership and other topics of interest to attendees.
  • Bestselling author Jim Collins will speak Tuesday, April 24 during the Business Program. Collins spoke at the Annual Meeting in 1996 and has spoken at several other NACDS events, including the first NACDS Total Store Expo in 2013. Collins brings a fascinating, in-depth understanding of business successes and challenges.
