Top political strategist and former Mississippi governor Haley Barbour provided timely insight and wisdom on the rapidly evolving healthcare system during his keynote remarks at the NACDS Annual Meeting on Monday, April 28. Following his speech, Barbour spoke with NACDS-TV on the vital role pharmacy plays in the everyday lives of Americans. He said patients rely on pharmacies for a wide array of services beyond pharmaceuticals: “Increasingly, they go looking for basic healthcare at a member organization of NACDS.”
