Rep. Ami Bera (D-CA) toured a Costco pharmacy in Elk Grove, Calif., as part of the NACDS RxIMPACT grassroots advocacy program on March 21. Bera, who in addition to his role as a legislator is also a physician, expressed support for NACDS-backed legislation and issues. The pharmacy team said he was “very supportive of pharmacy and recognizes the importance of pharmacists as the most accessible healthcare providers.”
