NACDS Elective Rotation in Association Management
NACDS offers an exciting opportunity for pharmacy students to enhance their understanding of community pharmacy practice and issues impacting the chain drug industry through an elective rotation is association management. The Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) rotation student will be able to see firsthand the day-to-day operations of a national pharmacy association.

MANAGER, PHARMACY CARE – Arlington-based trade association seeks individual with pharmacy care expertise to assist in heightening the awareness and visibility of the value of pharmacy care. Responsible for development and implementation of select pharmacy care initiatives, including identifying public and private pharmacy care services, transforming healthcare delivery models. Responsible for the development and execution of educational and training programs. Assists with research activities. Represents NACDS at industry meetings. Assists Foundation with charitable grant process and programs. Minimum requirements: Advanced degree in healthcare/public health, Doctor of Pharmacy a plus. 3-5 years healthcare experience, association experience a plus. Strong oral and written communication skills. MS Office, strong in PowerPoint and Excel. Ability to work independently on complex projects. Requires proven analytical, research and project management skills.
