DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR – Arlington-based trade association seeks database administrator/systems analyst to join Information Services team. Position provides technical direction for AMS design, maintenance and administration. Develops and formulates standards, procedures and conventions for DB use, security and data integrity. Position accountable for AMS system. Duties: determine/analyze end user needs; maintain SOPs; access and integrate data for reporting; guide and support staff use of AMS; manage SQL service databases and maintenance; provide help desk support as part of IS team; interact with management and staff to assist with AMS utilization. Position reports to Director, Information Services.
Minimum four years demonstrated use of database management systems and software analysis, strong knowledge of Personify; BS Computer Science preferred; working knowledge of local area networks, SQL, Crystal Reports, and Microsoft Access; strong customer service and communication skills; ability to work well as part of a team; ability meet deadlines with accuracy.
